The second annual Icicle Arts Festival takes place September 10-12, 2010 - featuring the Icicle Prize in Songwriting.

Finalists will compete at the Main Stage performance on 9/12/10
at 2pm at Sleeping Lady’s Chapel Theater before a panel of guest judges from
all over Washington State. Finalists will be awarded a $100 finalist prize,
and one winner will be awarded a $1,000 grand prize.

Student winners will perform their songs at the Main Stage
performance and will be awarded $100, $200, and $300 prize monies and a trophy
at the performance.
Internationally-acclaimed solo flamenco guitarist Andre Feriante will perform at Icicle Creek Music Center’s Canyon Wren Recital Hall on Friday, September 10 at 7pm. Ticket are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Reserve online or by calling 509-548-2278.
A free open mic sponsored by Leavenworth Community Coffeehouse will take place on Saturday in downtown Leavenworth, along with film screenings from 2009 Icicle Prize winners, and workshops in a variety of styles.

Weddell, Linda Waterfall, and Dan Maher take place Saturday, September 11 at
