CALL FOR ARTISTS:
Icicle Arts Festival featuring the Icicle Prize in recycled art takes place in June! Student artist deadline has passed. Professional and aspiring artists’ submission deadline is June 8 – download the application (PDF) or call (509) 548-2278 to request one by mail.

Professional & Aspiring Artists’ Artwork Schedule:
Friday, June 8 – Submission deadline
Monday, June 11 – Drop-off deadline for artwork
Friday, June 15 – Artwork will be installed at several locations around town including Icicle Arts Gallery, Barn Beach Reserve grounds, Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort grounds, Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center
Monday, July 16 – Artwork will be de-installed from all locations (some pieces may be taken down early as wear and tear requires)

Festival Events Schedule:

Friday, May 18

  • Opening reception for student artists, awarding of student prizes at the gallery, 5-7PM, free

Now through July 15


Saturday, June 16 through July 15


Friday, June 22

  • Artists’ reception with guest judges at Icicle Arts Gallery and/or Sleeping Lady O’Grady’s with artwalk tours given by staff and volunteers, informal talk with judges


Saturday, June 23

  • Workshops with guest judges, 12-5PM at Icicle Arts Gallery and “the barn” at Barn Beach Reserve, free
  • Main stage event – “Trash to Fash” recycled art runway show with special guests CRUZ CONTROL performing hip hop dances at Leavenworth FestHalle at 7PM. Tickets are $10-$12, call 548-2278 or reserve online.
  • After party with DJ and dancing, ages 18+ at Leavenworth FestHalle, 9-11PM, free with main stage ticket or $2 per person.
