The “Broadway Soirée Gala” will feature a silent auction, local wines by Icicle Ridge Winery, a buffet dinner catered by Grünewald Guild chef Nathan Bernard, and a unique performance.

This kick-off to the 2011 New Play Festival will feature several Broadway and Seattle-area performers never before seen in Leavenworth including Patti Cohenour (Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera, Light in the Piazza, Sound of Music), John Dewar (Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Aspects of Love, Cats), Allen Fitzpatrick (Artistic Director of Icicle Creek Theatre Festival, star of Broadway’s Memphis, Passion, Les Miserables, Damn Yankees), Nick Garrison (5th Avenue Theatre’s Cabaret, Hedwig national tour), Angie Louise (5th Avenue Theatre’s Cabaret and many others), Erich Parce (The Metropolitan Opera, Seattle Opera, San Francisco Opera, Miami Opera), and Sarah Rudinoff (5th Avenue Theatre’s Wonderful Town and On The Town).

Cost to attend is $75 per person, advance reservations required. All proceeds benefit the 2011 New Play Festival and will be matched up to $10,000 by the Sleeping Lady Foundation.
