About Us

MISSION
Icicle Arts connects, educates, and celebrates the arts community in the Wenatchee River Valley.

VISION

Icicle Arts envisions a future where the arts thrive and prosper in the Wenatchee River Valley, where the arts positively impact our local economy, where joint partnerships and programs maximize the resources available to North Central Washington arts organizations, and where community members and visitors to our community join together to celebrate the arts.

HISTORY
In 2004, Icicle Arts began production of a small arts publication intended to be a central listing place for local arts events. Over the next few years Icicle Arts increased its membership base and expanded to the entire Wenatchee Valley. Icicle Arts currently publishes 3,000 copies six times yearly of the North Central Washington Arts Calendar publication, distributed state-wide. In 2008 Icicle Arts implemented a web calendar which enabled the public to view arts calendar information online. In 2009 Icicle Arts founded a new art gallery, education program, arts festival, and expanded promotions to include an e-newsletter and periodic marketing support to local organizations. Icicle Arts currently has members from all over Washington State, supports one full-time director, and supports several part-time, work-study, and volunteer staff members.
